Default Making money with Linux

Making money with Linux
-----------------------

The whole idea of making money with Linux has always been you can set up
your own distros and own markets add content and charge what you want.

You don't need permission from anyone.

Evidently google and many other companies are adept at it.
They have put Linux into their server farms and their smartphones,
streaming sticks, laptops. If google made routers, IPWebcams, audio, cameras
(which exist with Android), with Linux then they will be immensely
successful with it again because Linux makes tons of money
for everyone who invest their time.

Google already exceeded Appil valuation twice this year
to become the most valuable company in the world using
Linux. Its sensible to switch to Linux.
And its looking like Linux has taken half of Appil's
lunch these 2 quarters. Sales are down 50% and orders for
supplies are down 30% with inventory pile up.

So Linux has great rewards for all those
who use it and expand their products with Linux
embedded inside. Those who stick with proprietary
continue to loose market share.

Most new ARM PC board makers start with Linux
as their distro of choice and do kickstarter
funding. There is so much demand for innovative
stuff now and Linux is free, that no one
needs to look left or look right to get to market.

In China, maker fares and seed companies seem to have merged
into one hot housing ideas factory where products
are born by the hour and turn into large companies
in days with Linux to power their gadgets.

This is where Europe should be going.
Set up large fairly open space offices in large hanger
for makers and seed companies to rent space
at minimalist price so that they can make
and sell products to visitors, to each other,
and once a day or so, a new product will be born
suitable for crowd funding, which raises
enough money to pay all the taxes for this
kind of funding and hot housing to take place.

Give 1 million monkeys 1 million typewriters and they'll eventually type
the entire works of William Shakespeare but the money will run out long
before this happens.

In your world who pays for all that office space that is rented at a
loss and who pays for all the failed products that the crowds will not
want to fund?

They are smart people with smart creative ideas
and what they are is defined by what they do all
day. Using 3D printers to create product forms,
PCBs to make the electronics, and Linux to liven
up their gadgets. This fusion of seed spaces
and hacker spaces produce viable new industries
every day. Although no one with any money
can point and say which product is the next
big earner. (If they could they would be
billionairs with every bet.)

Yeah right, projects like these
http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/ulux-corporation
http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/nws
http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/ryanhammill-mobiles
http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/crunchbang-file-repository

The above were found by searching Linux on crowdfunder.co.uk. I got
bored trying to find a project that had any backing at all.

It seems you are attracted to failure troll.
You must be living for failure which is why you are
reduced to internet trolling to make moneeey
from microshaft and appil shilling.

You must install Linux now and shave yoursefl.

So you said "ideas factory where products are born by the hour and turn
into large companies in days with Linux to power their gadgets."

And you've found, a PC, a router, a phone that just about manages 3G and
two more PCs. Hardly innovation at its finest and no sign of the alleged
products born by the hour and large companies being produced in days.

Most of those products will be gathering dust in a few months.

Most mobile phones, funded by more conventional mechanisms, are Linux
based. All Androids run on Linux. I think IOS does as well. Most set
top boxes are also Linux based.

Yes Android phones are Linux based. They are also badly supported and
rarely updated making them insecure. But they are cheap ;-)

IOS is based on OS X which is a Unix system, it's not Linux.

Got a link to your assertion regarding set top boxes? Some do indeed run
Linux but not all, it's extremely fragmented and not safe to make
assumptions about what's in the box

Still no signs of 7's products being born by the hour and large
companies being formed in days because of Linux........

WPF (What Per Fsck) is this Desk Wabbit?

You were given a sample from thousands of success stories.

What more do you want troll?

These days you got Linux, freedom softwares, $10 computer,
and $300 3D printers. Print any product you want, paint it, put
the electronics in, load up Linux, write the apps, send off $300 for
press releases, click on kickstarter, fill in the forms
and the project is ready to fly within 3 days.

The world is a very changed place troll despite you not being
able to get a job and ended in shilling for microshat
and appile for troll money, and you are outdated.

Appile just fired all its contractors, lost 50% of its sales
and cut back 30% of its production. No one wants to buy their
crap. Most of its customers being in USA, its all imploding.
So you could be next, the shills and internet trolls have to go
without pay.

Microshaft nowhere to be seen. Google a Linux company is worth
100 billion dollars more than microshaft.
While microshaft's revenue shrinks to equal that of IBM
after costs.

What a state of turn arounds.

Linux just goes from strength to strength.

Investing in Linux makes money for every company that has
turned to Linux.

These are just some of the numerous tech companies
now wholly using Linux:

Cisco, Facebook, Amazon, NASDAQ, AT&T, Google, Uber, Lyft,
Pinterest, Wallmart, Tesla, Reddit, Bloomberg,
Netflix, Dropbox, Wikipedia, Deutche Telecom, Rackspace,
VMware, Instagram.

You should carry on trolling Desk Wabbit.
Its more Linux money for everyone else.
No one is listening troll.
Everyone has gone and invested in Linux big time
and making tons of money without you
