Credit references an families. by Jupiter
I live with my family. If one member of the family requested their credit report from either of the three main credit reference agencies, would it show my details and credit accounts? Some years ago, I know credit reports did show other members of the family. We all have the same surname and are listed on the electoral register. However, I do not have any financial links with any other...

Need to check Electoral register updated with Credit agencies by mac
I got myself on the voters register on the 4th of july. Is there a free way to check when my credit report will be updated with this info? It seems a waste to order 3 credit reports just to check one (albeit important) piece of data.

Is there a forum or group or blog specific to ex-pats who paid into Deutsche Renterversicherung? by MM
I paid into the DR for nearly 13 years and, since I reach offical retirement age next year, am in the process of ensuring everything is in order when the time comes to make an application for a pension, in conjunction with the DWP (I spent most of my working life working in the UK and paying NI.) But it is a lonely business! I'd love to discuss mixed pension arrangements with someone who had...

LLP returns by Rob
Trying to help a friend do their return to Companies House online for an LLP. This is the first time it has been done online and so it asks them to change the country for all the partners to UK (previously blank). For the two individuals this works fine, however they have a discretionary trust listed as a third partner. This has a share of one of the individual partner's half. Changing...

I hope this is simple. A Self Employed contractor uses the family car for the following journeys. Do they count for mileage when it comes to Self Assessment? Journeys are only for the work involved - would not be made otherwise. Contract Cleaning: Journey to and from the site where the companies he cleans for have their offices. Newspaper round: Driving to shop to collect papers. Driving...

Personal mobile contract, business use by fred
I'm a bit out of touch with the current state of play on putting personal mobile bills through the books of a small limited company (one man band). The user was a sole trader so used his personal mobile for the business and the number is now well known as his business mobile. User converts to Ltd coy but still wants to use this number for the business but the bills are in his personal name,...
