Question Investing in the UK

Hi

I will be moving to the Uk/London in April 2012 and I was wondering to apply for finance within the uk is it better to go direct to a bank or maybe use a broker?

For me Investment in real estate business is much better then investing in any other market.Because real estate business always provide profitable return on the investment and that is why more people have started investing in real estate market..!!
