Default Economical Money Transfer to USA

I want to transfer around £300 to my grandson in California, (help him
out with a laptop purchase), any suggestions on the most cost-effective
method would be appreciated.

TIA

You can transfer through Paypal which is an instant and affordable solution to transfer money anywhere.

PayPal or Western Union is the best option to transfer money internationally. You can choose any of them. Both are cost effective as well as safe.

Paypal is easy to go with if your credit score or sitaution is good.I received a payment in USD 80 from Poland. The cost I paid was about $3.5. so I feel this would be the least expensive option.
