Default A&L

A&L Commercial while they were good for the highest interest rates a year or
so back they are poor for communications and speed when closing an account.

They stopped my last attempt to move, by BACS, 99% of my funds to another
bank and have now gone quiet.

Yet another phone call tonight then...

simplz...I sent a Company Headed letter to cancel the account but failed to
state who to make the balance cheque out to.

That was on the 7th December and their system reported having received it on
the 9th December. So that's almost a month, take away 5 days holiday, to
either write to me or phone me to determine the recipient. Yep the longer
they hold it the better for them.
